Il governo Netanyahu prepara un’operazione di terra per invadere il Libano meridionale e dichiara la sua disponibilità a fare terra bruciata di Beirut come a Gaza.

I nuovi attacchi dell’aviazione israeliana sul Libano e la concentrazione di truppe sul confine sono chiari indizi di una prossima grande offensiva di Israele contro Hezbollah.

L’obiettivo non è soltanto quello indicato dai media occidentali, creare una zona cuscinetto per impedire che il suo territorio venga bombardato. In realtà Netanyahu e la sua compagine di governo vogliono approfittare dell’occasione per portarsi avanti con il loro vecchio progetto di espansione che tende a realizzare la “Grande Israele” con l’annessione di nuovi territori.

La prima operazione di attacco aereo aveva come obiettivo quello di decapitare la dirigenza di Hezbollah.

Il 20 settembre gli israeliani hanno lanciato il più grande attacco a Beirut dal 2006 e il terzo dall’inizio della guerra contro Gaza il 7 ottobre 2023. In precedenza, il 2 gennaio, il leader di Hamas Saleh al-Arouri era stato eliminato, e il 30 luglio era stato assassinato il leader di Hezbollah, uno dei principali leader militari Fuad Shukr. Questa volta l’obiettivo era il sostituto di Shuqr, Ibrahim Muhammad Aqil, e il comando delle forze Radwan, le forze speciali d’élite di Hezbollah. E’ stata confermata la morte di 16 dei loro combattenti, tra cui due comandanti di alto rango delle forze Radwan: Ibrahim Aqil e Ahmed Mahmoud Wahbe. Tra le vittime c’era anche Ahmad Mahmoud Wahabi, capo del centro di addestramento del gruppo sciita, responsabile delle operazioni contro l’IDF al confine libanese-israeliano.

Oltre a questi, Secondo il Ministero della Sanità libanese, tra i morti ci sono tre bambini di 6, 4 e 10 anni, sette donne, e vi sono anche corpi non identificati. 68 persone sono rimaste ferite.

Nonostante questo grave colpo, Hezbollah sta riorganizzando le sue forze e rinnovando i ranghi di comando del gruppo combattente.

Arrivano rinforzi di volontari provenienti da altri paesi: dall’Iraq hanno dato la loro disponibilità a combattere le milizie sciite irakene, dallo Yemen sono già arrivati alcuni reparti degli Houthi ed altri ne arriveranno passando dalla Siria.

L’offensiva condotta dal regime di Netanyahu trova le sue motivazioni non solo sulla necessità di proteggere il fronte nord, dove decine di migliaia di coloni sono dovuti fuggire ed abbandonare le loro case, ma anche sulla propria sopravvivenza politica. Accanto a queste necessità, la cricca di Netanyahu & c. vuole perseguire una ulteriore espansione regionale, cercando di realizzare il vecchio obiettivo della “Grande Israele” a scapito dei paesi vicini. Il capo sionista conta come sempre sulla sua impunità, assicurata dai suoi alleati, Stati Uniti in primis, mentre non presta la minima attenzione alle deboli proteste verbali.

Il regime di Netanyahu deve agire in concomitanza con gli ultimi mesi dell’amministrazione Biden, con la possibiltà che la situazione si complichi con un intervento dell’Iran e con un coinvolgimento degli USA nella conseguente guerra che sarebbe a quel punto contro il Libano e contro l’Iran.

Uno scenario estrememente pericoloso si sta aprendo in Medio Oriente dove l’incendio è stato appiccato da Israele con un anno circa di massacri sistematici a Gaza e in Cisgiordania della popolazione palestinese. Fatto questo che ha creato la reazione dei paesi arabi e del fronte della resistenza coalizzato tra Hezbollah, Yemen, Iraq sciita e altre forze.

Le azioni di Israele hanno sollevato una ondata di indignazione internazionale che ha determinato un embargo contro Israele, che subisce attacchi alle sue navi dirette ai porti di Haifa e di Eliat e conseguenti forti danni alla sua economia. Non soltanto una grave crisi economica ma anche il fatto che Israele si sta disgregando dall’interno. Il suo esercito è seriamente logorato e impoverito; la sua economia è stata seriamente compromessa dagli attacchi missilistici su più fronti e da 12 mesi di economia di guerra; la stessa società israeliana sta iniziando a frammentarsi. Gli analisti militari riferiscono che Israele, senza il supporto degli Stati Uniti, non sarebbe in grado di reggere una guerra su più fronti, in particolare se dovesse intervenire l’Iran.

Questo dovrebbe spingere il regime di Netanyahu a non premere l’acceleratore fino in fondo ma il capo sionista è divorato dalla sua sete di sangue e dalla paura di dover perdere la sua poltrona con la fine della guerra.

Sarà più chiara la situazione nei prossimi giorni ma quel che è certo è che in Libano si prepara un “nuovo bagno di sangue”. Quella che colpisce è l’indifferenza dei governi europei e l’assenza di reazioni sostanziali.

The Netanyahu government prepares a ground operation to invade southern Lebanon and declares its readiness to scorched-earth Beirut as in Gaza.

Alongside these needs, the Netanyahu & c. clique wants to pursue further regional expansion, seeking to realize the old goal of “Greater Israel” at the expense of neighboring countries. As always, the Zionist leader counts on his impunity, secured by his allies, the United States first and foremost, while he pays no attention whatsoever to weak verbal protests.

The Netanyahu regime must act in conjunction with the final months of the Biden administration, with the possibility that the situation will be complicated by an Iranian intervention and U.S. involvement in the ensuing war that would then be against Lebanon and Iran.

An extremely dangerous scenario is opening up in the Middle East where the fire has been set by Israel with a year or so of systematic massacres in Gaza and the West Bank of the Palestinian population. Fact that has created the reaction of Arab countries and the resistance front coalesced among Hezbollah, Yemen, Shiite Iraq and other forces.

Israel's actions have raised a wave of international outrage resulting in an embargo against Israel, which suffers attacks on its ships bound for the ports of Haifa and Eliat and consequent severe damage to its economy. Not only a severe economic crisis but also the fact that Israel is disintegrating from within.
